Made from Sugarcane bagasse
Ideal for use where hot and cold dishes are served together.
Please note picture shows the 5 and 6 compartment trays.
Sugarcane Bagasse is a pulp derived from the sugarcane stalk after juice extraction. For each 10 tonnes of sugarcane crushed a factory produces nearly 3 tonnes of wet bagasse. After the application of pressure and high heat to the pulp, it is sterilized, sanitized and molded into a useable product. The end result is suitable for home composting in 60-90 days. Why is sugarcane highly sustainable ? Trees in general take 20 years to re-grow, Sugarcane takes 9 months.
